In the Box is an open invitation for service men and women to join to Bryan and friends at Spurs for any home game at White Hart lane. Nobody explains the founding of Just Rifles better than Bryan himself:
“Lance Corporal Thomas Keogh was shot and killed in action in Sangin, Afghanistan on 7th March 2010 aged 25.
I have known Tom’s Mum and Dad, Marion and Lawrence, and the Keogh family for over 30 years. When I learned of Tom’s death it crystalised the sense of anger and frustration that I have felt for many years over the loss of life and limb of our young men and women fighting in Afghanistan.
After hearing of Tom’s tragic death we contacted the Rifles and offered two seats for every home game in our Box at Spurs. It seems a small gesture, I know, but it was all I could think to do at the time.
Ever since for each home game we have had two soldiers as guests. It has been a humbling experience for myself and all the regular guests in our box, to have had the privilege to meet all of these young soldiers. This experience prompted me to set up Just Rifles, which offers funding for all kinds of needs of ex-service men and women.”
