Mental Health/Wellbeing

We are dedicated to the wellbeing of veterans and we are actively helping those who suffer from trauma including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) get the help they need quickly. However, seeing a professional can take time which means friends, family members and former soldiers are stepping in to do what they can. We want to help those who are already supporting a veteran suffering mental trauma have the right skills and understanding so they can give people what they need until a professional is able to support them. Having a friend or colleague who has experienced combat and has the skills to give some counselling is a massive boost and an area of support that is currently unavailable.  We want to change that and we are currently raising funds to send people on courses so they are better equipped to provide support.
