George Pas

Lance Corporal George Pas was 26 when he volunteered to join the Rifle Volunteers, a Batallion of the Territorial Army. He underwent extensive training and in just one year, was promoted to Lance Corporal. Later, he was promoted to Corporal and subsequently also served as a Platoon Sergeant. His service and training has taken him around the world including Ukraine, Georgia, Canada, USA, Cyprus, Kenya and Afghanistan.

As a Rifleman he worked alongside the 42 Commando Royal Marines as well as the Ghurkha’s.

He has been presented with a Colonel in Chief’s commendation for his service.

Sadly, George was involved in a motorbike accident in the UK between deployments. He sustained several serious injuries and fell into a coma. His spinal cord was damaged and George was left paralysed.

Just Rifles was extremely proud to have been able to contribute to purchasing an Overlander for George. The bit of kit is best described by the people who make it:

“…an exciting,  electrically powered off road wheelchair and scooter with distinctive looks and extreme off-road capabilities.”

We are looking forward to hearing more of George’s stories as he gets out and about on off-road adventures.
